THE OFFICIAL 25TH ANNUAL HOUDINI SEANCE

The 25th Annual Houdini Séance was held on October 31st, Halloween at 1:26PM on the 13th floor of Circus Circus in Las Vegas, NV. Dixie Dooley conducts the only séance that is endorsed by the Houdini family. Last year the séance was quite eventful-when Dixie called on the spirit of Houdini the power went out for a brief time...watch the video and see what you think...did Houdini return? The event was broadcast worldwide and Dixie did numerous interviews to promote this year's Houdini Séance.

Dixie Dooley receives Merlin Award...

Dixie Dooley received the coveted Merlin Award from the International Magicians Society. The award recognized his 30 years of exceptional magic in Las Vegas!

Tony Hassini the CEO of the International Magicians Society presented the award.

Past winners include: Doug Henning, Slydini, Sigfried and Roy, Criss Angel, David Copperfield and more amazing magicians.

Dixie is honored to receive this award and be in the company of the few magicians that have attained this award. 30 years of magic celebration!

Dixie Dooley is celebrating 30 years of performing magic in Las Vegas! First performing in Las Vegas in 1978 at the Sahara. But since moving and making his home in Las Vegas in 1985, Dixie has produced five long running shows , THAT'S MAGIC, WORLD OF THE UNREAL, HOUDINI LIVES AGAIN, HEATWAVE, and DIXIE DOOLEY MASTER MYSTIFIER. Dixie has appeared in hundreds of production shows, as well as constantly making appearances up and down the strip at corporate events.

DIXIE DOOLEY SIGNS GLOBAL BROADCASTING AGREEMENT TO 120 MILLION HOUSEHOLDS

Las Vegas Magician, Dixie Dooley in connection with an International cable company will soon be entering 120 million households all through Europe and China. His shows filmed live in Las Vegas will bring hours of magical entertainment to all ages and will begin to air this month.

The shows will be shown weekly and will feature Dixie's Master Mystifier show, Houdini Lives Again, The World of the Unreal, as well as many of his stunts and of course- his daring underwater escape from the milkcan!

MAGIC FIT FOR A KING

On July 27th, 2008 Dixie Dooley gave a command performance for the crowned Prince of Saudi Arabia and his family here in Las Vegas. The Crowned Prince and Princess, along with their 6 children held the performance at an undisclosed location, where Dooley performed magic for the entire family.

Dixie Performs for Michael Jackson

February 13th, 2007

Feb. 13th, 2007 was an eventful day for Dixie. He was invited to Michael Jackson's home to perform for Michael and his children. Dixie performed an hour show in front of the fireplace. Michael commented "He's really good" and enjoying Dixie's show. After words Dixie spent some time with Michael, talking magic and about Dixie's Houdini collection. Michael invited Dixie back for a return visit, asking Dixie to help him with his magic. Michael commented that he really liked Dixie's slight of hand and that he could tell Dixie had worked hard for years to obtain the level of skill and ease in which Dixie accomplished difficult manipulations. It was a very memorable day and the children had a great time.
